Network is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to addressing the needs of veterans and their families in
the Greater Sacramento area.

VCSN OPERATING STRUCTURE
The VCSN uses an operating structure of committees for each of the cornerstones and elements.
Each committee has a Purpose, as follows:
Employment Committee
Purpose: Assist the transition to civilian life by transferring skill sets acquired during service to civilian job skills
and to assist with placement.
Housing Committee
Purpose: Assist Veterans in finding affordable, permanent housing and encouraging self
sufficiency; to reach out to homeless Veterans in the greater Sacramento area streets and encampments and assist to find immediate refuge to ensure no veteran is left
behind.
Health Committee
Purpose: Assist Veterans in the many complexities of navigating through the VA medical and mental health
care claim system and to assist veterans in attaining these benefits.
Education Committee
Purpose: Direct Veterans to various
educational institutions where there are representatives who are knowledgeable about Veteran Education Benefits: GI Bill,
Post 911, Yellow Ribbon, etc.
